Seafood 4 Africa 2024: A Forum for Sustainable Fisheries Cooperation in Africa

From December 4 to 6, 2024, the city of Dakhla, Morocco, will host Seafood 4 Africa 2024, a forum organized by the National Federation of Processing and Valorization Industries of Fishery Products (FENIP). Guided by the strategic vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the event will bring together experts, stakeholders, and policymakers to foster sustainable fisheries cooperation, advance the blue economy, and strengthen intra-African trade in the fishing and aquaculture sectors.
The National Federation of Processing and Valorization Industries of Fishery Products (FENIP) is organizing the Seafood 4 Africa 2024 forum, which will be held in Dakhla, Morocco, from December 4 to 6, 2024.
In line with the strategic orientations of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, this forum aims to promote sustainable fisheries cooperation and a fishing and aquaculture industry that respects the blue economy.
Organized in partnership with various Moroccan ministries, the forum will bring together more than 70 exhibitors, 30 panelists, and 3,000 visitors from all over Africa and other continents.
The agenda will include scientific conferences, B2B meetings, and an exhibition on the value chain of fishery and aquaculture products.
The forum will provide a privileged space for dialogue and exchanges between stakeholders in the African fisheries sector. Its main objective is to strengthen economic growth, social progress, and the sustainable valorization of seafood products.
Confirmed participants include representatives from African countries such as Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria, Togo, Guinea, Liberia, Equatorial Guinea, Ivory Coast, Mauritania, Gambia, Ghana, and Senegal, as well as regional and international institutions such as FAO, ATLAFCO, AfCFTA, MOSFA, AU-IBAR, and INFOPÊCHE.
Seafood 4 Africa 2024 is part of Morocco’s efforts to strengthen South-South cooperation in the field of fisheries and aquaculture. It aims to support the sustainable development of the sector and promote intra-African trade.
